I have a FIVE year Old

Last year we were in the car celebrating Isaac's birthday on our way back from Oklahoma. This year his birthday fell on a Sunday. I told Koki we H..A..V..E.. to make a big deal out of his birthday this year. Plus he turns the magical age of 5, he has officially reached big boy status. In the end we basically had 3 parties for him.

Party #1 was while Koki's family was in town. It was the Friday before his birthday. Koki's mom made him a castle cake and put on a pudding pool party. I could do without the pudding party but the kids LOVED it.

On his actual birthday Isaac wanted chocolate chip pancakes w/ whipping cream for breakfast and Lucky Charms for dinner. My parent's came over with my little brother's family for his dinner that night and he had another birthday cake to blow out candles.

Then we had a friend swim party a couple days later where he got to blow out more candles, get more gifts, and be the center of attention once again. I'd say we totally made up for his birthday the year before.

We love Isaac. He's the friendliest kid. Adults gravitate to him because he is so honest and says the funniest things. We're so blessed to have him in our family.
