Two Clines One Team

The boys had their first playoff game tonight. It was so awesome that Isaac was able to dress for Varsity with Gideon. I truly enjoyed having two boys on the sideline. Bonus that CV won and Gideon did great on the field!

Saying Good Bye is Hard

My girl Jos got to play with her BFF Maia Pili till late tonight. The Pili’s are moving tomorrow and today was the last day they could hangout together. It’s been an interesting last week knowing the Pili’s time in Utah was winding down but since Jenny had Covid they were quarantined. I was really hoping our kids would be able to hang out and say goodbye one more time before they left. Thankfully today was the day.

Sale and Foua played, Jarom hung out with little Ifo, and of course Jos and Maia. It was a great last hangout for all of them.

When the kids got home I had them shower. I heard Kaycie say, “Are you crying?” When J went up to check my poor Joslyn was crying in the shower. She’s going to really miss Maia😞. My heart just aches for her. My girl who loves hard was losing her best friend. I know what she feels like cause I am going to miss Jenny a lot too!! I even cried tonight but tried to hide it from Jos. I told Jos she could FaceTime Maia and write letters. Then I sure did start a cartoon at 11:30 so she would get distracted and stop crying.

Having the Pili’s move is going to be really sad for all of us. They were amazing neighbors and even better friends.

I had to capture this last picture with Ifo after their win today. Now they get to play in the championship game next week. Sad that Ifo will be gone.

Just Sale

We’re in Sale’s room right now. He’s coloring on Jarom’s bed and I’m reading on his. As he’s coloring he asked, “ Mom, what does T..O..T..A..L..L..Y and a backwards i spell?”

Huh a backwards i??? Oh that’s an exclamation mark.

Sale, Hmmm

During the movie Matty threw me his phone to show me this! So proud of Gideon. He’s only been playing defensive end for three weeks. It’s pretty awesome.

I rented jet skiis for Labor Day this past Monday. On our way to pick them up I got a call that there were no more  skiis to rent out. They had some that people decided to keep another day. I was totally bummed. The guy said he did have a boat we could take. I wasn’t going to but Koki and the boys were excited about it and said to get the boat. When we got there it was a bit ghetto for me. I almost backed out but the boys still wanted it so we took it. I was actually really impressed with Koki driving it. The last time he drove a boat he was a teenager. The kids loved it. They had a lot of fun on the tube. Gideon and Isaac tried wake boarding. Gideon was able to stand but Isaac unfortunately was not. He was pretty bummed and frustrated. It didn’t help that the water was really choppy. The boat ended up being a hit. There was a little snag at the end when Koki was trying to get it on the trailer. He accidentally hit another person’s trailer with the boat. The guy was nice about it and is going to fix it himself. It’s going to be $200. At least he’s not going through our insurance. I don’t think I’ll ever rent a boat again but I definitely would do jet skiis. That night all the kids said thank you so many times. I was really happy they had such a great time.

A fire a fire

We were just chillin after our church at home and Jo texted that there was a fire in Saratoga. Rene and Hy ended up having to evacuate to Jay’s house. We started to get things ready in case the fire went over the mountain to our side. The kids packed clothes. I gathered the important documents and Koki got family videos and photo albums together. We kept telling the kids if our house was on fire what would you want to take. Jarom wanted his Uke. Isaac the PS4. Gideon wanted his $70 sweatshirt from Cali and his Fanny pack. Sale the big cougar head. The girls packed some toys . The thing I wanted most was my journals. This was another one of those wake up calls getting us ready for something. I think it’s God’s way of preparing us again. He sure does love us. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1fwc-AdQpqwO3aXlAyn83aekuO8pNCt_q

We love when cousins visit

This week

Gideon Went to Cali

Cj and Chynea invited Gideon, Mattyn, and Zeke to California with them while we had their girls Atiana and Mila. Gideon was so excited to go. It was his first trip by himself. He had an amazing time and wants to go every summer now.

One night he called me and told me I may not be happy with one of his purchases. What!?! Me not happy how you spend money🤫Then he says,” I bought something I thought was $30 but then when I left I realized it was $70.” Ummm, what did you buy son? A hoodie. Oh. My. Word. Well I’m glad it’s his money not mine🤪

June 13-20 2020

Jay invited us to have a pool party with our Ah You cousins at his house. It was
cute to see dad and mom in the pool.

Sale's a fish. He is getting better and better at swimming without his floaties.
There were a lot of people so we had him put his floaties on a lot this day to be safe.

Gideon and Zion

Jayda, Muryha, and Isaac

Jarom, Slater, and Renzo

Jay put these swings under his pavilion and the kids loved it

Papa with his grandkids

How many kids can we fit in the spa

Tor made this Smor's kit and our kids go to town with it every time we go to Jay's

Swimming late into the night

Sale and Jaycie

One night these two wanted to do filters on Tik Tok. Its so funny to hear them
laugh at themselves.

Our younger three kids had a sleepover at Maika's house.
This was a big deal for Joslyn because she usually doesn't like sleeping at other's houses.

Water fun with Maika

Saturday night Atiana and Mila flew in to stay the week with us. We went to welcome them
at Papa and Gigi's.

Papa, Gabe, and Savannah hanging out after we welcomed the boys.
