She's 5 months

Oh my goodness. I can't believe how fast my baby is growing. She already has two teeth and I'm pretty sure from all the crying the last couple of days a couple more are coming in. At her last check up she was like 90th percentile for weight and height. We love our JOSLYN!
She loves the comfort of being in her daddy's arms.
Koki took this picture in the middle of my sunday school lesson. He said he couldn't resist.
Wow, can that tongue be any longer?
Another picture of Joslyn distracting her daddy.
We waited till February to bless her. We wanted her to get bigger before
we took her to church.
We like to set up photo shoots with her. We can't help it.
I love getting her dressed on Sundays. Can't wait to bring out the summer dresses.
When she was a baby she slept on this boppy for almost all her naps.
She was such a good sleeper.
Love the hand position here
We went out to eat with Koki's family and Joslyn was struggling to keep her eyes open.
The first time she ate baby food. She wasn't as messy as the boys but still
spit some food out here and there.

Code Adam

Today I went to Wal Mart and surprise surprise I lost Jarom. This happens almost every time. He thinks it's hilarious to hide from me inside the clothing rounders. Usually I'll yell, "J...A..RRROMMM!" and he'll come running out laughing away. Today he didn't run out. He didn't even respond. It was less than a minute and I started to panic. I was yelling his name and nothing. A manager walked by me and I told him I lost my kid. He got on his radio and said," Code Adam. We're looking for a three year old little boy, shaved head, wearing a red shirt." The manager started walking me to customer service and at first I hesitated telling him I should look for my son but he said he had all the employees in the store looking and before we even got to the front of the store the manager turned to me and said they found him...phew!

I waited at customer service thinking Jarom was probably so scared and maybe crying. I couldn't wait to see him so I could tell him everything was okay. From the corner of my eye I saw my son walking towards me with two Wal Mart employees. There were no tears, not even a sad face. The kid had a HUGE smile on his face. Not scared at all, little stinker. Of course I was relieved to see him and for the rest of the trip my sister joined me and we buckled him in the cart.

At dinner we were talking about what happened and Koki was telling Jarom he needed to stay by me in the stores so no one would take him. Jarom replied," I can fight them. I can kick them in the private." hahaha. No wonder he thinks he can roam Wal Mart like he owns the place :)

Jr Jazz

We had a great time during basketball season. It was Isaac's first year playing, Gideon was on
his team, and Koki was one of the coaches.
Coach Daddy- Koki was so impressed how much all the boys improved by the end of the season. Our
boys started having only basketball on the brain, which makes the daddy proud but the mom not so much especially when they want to practice in the house.
I loved how Gideon always gave his brother the ball to shoot. You wouldn't have
guessed Isaac was the youngest on the team cause he's such a little baller.
Gideon LOVES LOVES LOVES basketball. He sure takes after
his daddy with his smooth skills.
We bought our boys each a basketball halfway through the season. They
were so excited I felt like we took them to Disneyland.
I'm so vain that I really didn't want to post this picture. One, I'm nursing and two, I just had to keep chewing and couldn't stop for 2 seconds to take a picture. Anyways, after every game we took our boys to get donuts. We started it cause Jarom would cry after the games that he didn't get a game treat. So I guess we have him to thank for crying cause it ended up being something we all looked forward to.

I am lucky because...

Last night I was cleaning out Gideon's backpack and found this paper. It was one of those moments as a parent that I was amazed and wondered "how did I get blessed to have such a good kid"...
