The new recruits with IreneAfter about 4 years of having a consecutive losing streak we finally have a reason to party. Our soccer team actually won some games this season. Woohoo!!! With begging and pleading we were able to recruit some all-stars :)! It's so nice going to play a game and feel that there is actually a chance to win. For the past four years I would go to a game with the illusion of winning but deep down I knew there was no way we could win, unless the other team had 4 players and we had 10. But even then it might get a little scary.
My sisters were both on the team too and after the games we would call and vent everything that was wrong with our team. Then we'd vow to change some things around but it would never happen. This year Irene actually did change some things. She got the Fetui sisters and Siona to play with us (I know both Fetui's are married with new last names but we just can't shake it. They'll always be Fetui's to us.) The first game they played Irene called me and told me the team lost but the girls showed up to play. She kept joking with them after about not being able to change teams but really... she was dead serious.
In an attempt to bribe them to stay on our team for next season we decided to have a party. We also celebrated my brother in laws birthday.

WOW! The fetui Sisters made the cut for your blog! I feel so honored. No bribing necessary to stay on your team..just knowing you’re not gunna take me down on the field is bribery enough! Mar, Irene and, and Victoria are some fierce players...
