For some reason this birthday was hard for me. Gideon hitting nine years old made me so sad that he's growing up sooo fast. My dad use to always say he wanted to freeze us kids. Now I know what my dad was referring to. Sometimes I just don't want my kids to grow up.
Gideon is such a good son. He takes after his dad in so many ways. When Koki is gone Gideon is always checking on me and telling his siblings to listen. He's our sensitive child, always concerned about everyone. He doesn't like when people are sad and often does everything he can to make them happy. We love and appreciate the example Gideon is to everyone in our family. He is a great kid and we are so blessed to have him as our son.
