This morning Isaac had my undivided attention which is a rare thing these days. Gideon was at school, Jarom was at my sister's, and Joslyn was sleeping. He decided he wanted to try an experiment he saw in a book, a potato candle. He peeled the potato and then I cut the bottom so it was flat and could stand on it's own. We read online to use a peanut or brazilian nut for the "wick". I only had a pecan which only worked for a second but that was good enough for Isaac. This project was easy for me and fun for him so I'd say it was a success.
